Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 package orange jello
- 2 cups orange juice
- vanilla ice cream

Boil water and sugar together. Mix in jello. Immediately add 2 cups orange juice and mix well. Place in the freezer in a flat container to freeze overnight. Remove from freezer and allow to soften for 10 minutes. Beat with mixer until the consistency of sherbert. Spread onto a jelly roll pan lined with parchment paper and freeze flat until solid.
Spread ice cream over the orange layer and freeze until solid.
Remove from freeze and lift the whole thing out of the jelly roll pan. It may need to soften for a few minutes, but roll up like a jelly roll peeling the paper away as you roll. Refreeze.
