Step 1

In a skillet cook 1/2 pkg Cacique Chorizo (pork or beef). Cook until almost done and drain well. Then add 1/2 c sliced poblano peopper and 1/2 c white onion. Cook until tender. Then remove from heat and add 1/2 c tequila and cook abot 15-20 seconds. In a medium casserole or glass dish, shred 1 pkg Cacique Queso Quesadilla (cheese), then add the chorizo, peppers and onions and mix well. Bake uncovered in a preheated 350 oven for about 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and slightly golden brown on top. Sprinkle with 1/4 c finely chopped tomato and 1 tbsp chopped cilantro. I TRIED THIS 09/05/10 AND IT WAS VERY GOOD. THE BOYS DID NOT LIKE IT. IT WAS NOT TOO SPICY. WOULD BE GOOD FOR A PARTY. BE AWARE THOUGH THE CHEESE MAY SEPARATE A LITTLE AND MAKE SURE IT IS COOKED THROUGH. I USED HINT OF LIME CHIPS AND SOOO GOOD. MAYBE ADD JALEPENOS IN FUTURE.
