Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs, or egg substitute
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour, minus 2 tablespoons
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 375. Generously grease 6 popover tins or 9 muffin tins.

2. Whisk together eggs-water. Add flour, whisk until combined well but still slightly lumpy.

3. Mince garlic and mash with salt. Whisk into batter.

4. Divide half of batter among tins. Sprinkle with half of Parmesan, top with remaining batter, then rest of Parmesan. Bake 45 mins. Cut a slit about ½" long on top of each popover and bake 10 mins (will not rise much).

Notes: These were great! And very easy. Might up the garlic next time.
