Ingredients

  • 1 3 OR 3 1/4 OZ regular vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate-covered cream-filled mint patties, cut up (8 patties)
  • 1 2-ounce package dessert topping mix
  • Chocolate curls (optional)
  • Fresh mint sprig (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

In a 1 1/2 -quart saucepan, combine vanilla pudding mix and milk; add cut-up mint patties. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till mixture is thickened and bubbly and mint patties are melted. Remove from heat.

Cover surface of pudding with waxed paper or plastic wrap; cool. Meanwhile, prepare topping mix according to package directions; fold dessert topping into cooled pudding.

Pour into storage container. Cover and chill. To serve, garnish with chocolate curls and fresh mint sprig, if desired. Makes about 2 1/2 cups sauce.
