- 2 cups milk
- 3 T buffer
- 3 beaten eggs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- %t nutmeg
- % t vanilla
- 3 cups bread cubes
- 1/3 cup raisins

Step 1
Scald milk & butter, let cool. Mix milk, eggs, sugar, nutmeg and vanilla Place bread cubes in baking dish (8 x 1 % inch round). Pour egg mixture over bread. Place in larger pan in about 1 inch of hot water. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes, or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
