Ingredients

  • Blueberry:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter, melted, or vegetable oil
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2-4 tablespoons fresh or frozen blueberries (thawedand well drained) over batter immediately after pouring it onto the iron
  • Cheese and bacon:
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheese (about 4 onz)
  • 4 short slices bacon, crisply fried, on batter.
  • Ham:
  • 1 package (3 onz) sliced smoke ham, cut up
  • Orange:
  • 1 3/4 cups orange (substitute for the milk)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat waffle iron.

Beat eggs with hand beater until fluffy; beat in remaining ingredients just until smooth. Pour batter from cup or pitcher onto center of hot waffle iron.

Bake until steaming stops, about 5 minutes.
