Chocolate chip bread

I substituted fat free vanilla yogurt for the sour cream and also used 1 c. whole wheat flour plus 2 c. all purpose flour. This bread is very moist. I had trouble getting it out of the pan. Noah loves this.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. soft butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Line pans with wax paper or grease them. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 50 minutes to 1 hour. When toothpick comes out dry.

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, vanilla and sour cream. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Blend with butter, sugar, egg and sour cream mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
