Ingredients

  • Mix as if for pie crust:
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup margarine
  • Beat and add:
  • 1 egg yolk (save white)
  • Milk to make 2/3 cup
  • Divide dough in half-roll out 1/2 on 17X12" jelly roll. Sprinkle bottom dough with crushed cornflakes
  • Filling: (4 cups of blueberries)
  • Bring 1 cup blueberries crushed and add 1/4 cup water to a boil and add 1cup sugar, 3 tbls. tapioca and a dash of lemon juice. Cook until thick-add 3 cups of blueberries. Spread on dough. Roll out top
  • After baking, frost with:
  • 1 cup conf. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tbls. hot water
  • Mix well
