- 8 potatoes
- 6 carrots
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried basil, optional

Preparation
Step 1
Scrub potatoes and carrots, cut into large chunks. Cook in steamer pan or basket over boiling water in saucepan until tender, 30-45 minutes. Drain.
Place potatoes, carrots, and remaining ingredients in mixing bowl and blend together until smooth with electric mixer or potato masher.
