Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Light or Dark Corn Syrup
- 1/2 Cup Butter or Margarine
- 2/3 Cup Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup Sifted Flour
- 1 Cup Finely Chopped Nuts

Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine corn syrup, butter and brown sugar in saucepan.
2. Bring just to a boil then remove from heat.
3. Combine flour and nuts, blend into mixture in saucepan,
4. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
5. Place 4 inches apart to allow room for spreading.
6. Bake at 325 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
7. Carefully remove from cookie sheet and cool on a wire rack.
*If cookies harden before they can be removed from sheet reheat in oven for a few minutes to soften.
