Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cabbage.
  • 1 large onion, minced
  • carrots and peppers if desired
  • NOTE: If you want to hasten this process, buy shredded cole slaw bags from the grocery store and add the onion!
  • Mayonnaise
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Shred the cabbage - or empty the bag - into a large bowl. Add minced onion, carrots and peppers and stir in with the cabbage.

In a small bowl, mix and add to taste: mayonnaise, sugar, salt and vinegar. Pour over shredded cabbage mixture and stir until well mixed. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
