Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 2 cups finely sliced green cabbage
  • 2 cups finely sliced red cabbage

Step 1

In large bowl, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, caraway seeds, if desired, and pepper. Add green and red cabbage; toss until cabbage is well coated with mayonnaise mixture.

Cover tightly and refrigerate at least one hour before serving for ingredients to marinate, to allow cabbage to soften, and for flavors to blend.
