Ingredients
- 1 1/2 sticks margerine
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 can pineapple rings, save juice
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

Step 1
In a large cast iron skillet, melt margerine. Turn off heat and stir in brown sugar. Lay in pineapple.
Beat egg yolks till foamy. Add 1 1/2 cups sugar. stir well. Sift flour and baking powder. Add alternately with 1/2 cup pineapple juice to egg mixture. Beat egg whites till stiff and fold into batter. Pour over butter and pineapple rings. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes. Invert right away to a platter.
