Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- Dipping Chocolate
- 4 squares semi-sweet chocolate
- 2 tbls. butter
- 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
- Filling
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 2 cups of conf. sugar.
- 2 tbls. lemon juice

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar-beat in egg yolk and vanilla-gradually add flour-shape into 1" balls-place 2" apart on ungreased sheet-with glass dipped in sugar, flatten balls in 2" circles.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until firm. Remove to rack to coll-combine filling-spread on bottom half-top half with cooked melted butter, stir until smooth. Dip each cookie 1/2 in chocolate then into nuts. Place on wax paper to harden
