Baked potato soup

Ingredients

  • 4 large baking potatoes, baked
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 48 oz chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

Preparation

Step 1

Bake potatoes until tender. Cool, peel and chop into small pieces

In soup pot melt butter over medium heat and add onions until soften

Add flour and cook 3 minutes

Slowly add broth, water, salt, pepper, sugar

Bring to boil stirring often

Gradually add heavy cream until you reach proper consistency

Add potatoes and simmer 5-10 minutes

Garnish with chopped bacon, chives & cheese
