  • CINNAMON/SUGAR COATING:
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 cups unbleached flour
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together the butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

Add the dry ingredients and mix well. Chill dough for a few hours.

Roll dough into walnut-sized balls, roll in cinnamon/sugar coating, and then place on greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 400 degrees for about 8 minutes.
