Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup lime or lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons red wine or burnet vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons capers
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dill seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • ground red pepper
  • 1 pound fresh shrimp -- cooked, peel, devein
  • avocado, 3 or 4 ripe

Preparation

Step 1


Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl;
Stir in shrimp.
Cover and marinate overnight.
Drain shrimp, reserving marinade.
Cut avocados in half, lengthwise; remove seeds, and peel.
Brush avocado with reserved marinade, and fill with shrimp.
