Ingredients
- 2 c. old fashioned oats
- 1/2 c. wheat germ
- 2 T. dark brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 c. maple syrup
- 3 T. flavorless oil (canola)
- 1 T. water
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/3 c. coconut
- 1/3 c. Craisins
- 1/3 c. raisins

Step 1
Heat oven to 275 degrees.
Coat a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray
In a bowl mix oats, wheatgerm, dark brown sugar and salt.
In a saucepan, bring to a boil maple syrup, oil, water and cinnamon.
Pour liquid over oat mixture and stir to combine.
Pour into 9x13 pan and squeeze cereal to form clumps
Bake 30 minutes
Stir in coconut, Craisins and raisins
Bake until golden brown - about another 15 minutes.
Notes: Use old fashioned oats (not quick oats). Quick oats cluster better, but texture is powdery and tastes of raw starch. The wheat germ serves as a glue to hold the oats together to form clumps.
