Ingredients
- 1/2 cup onions -- chopped
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups stale bread -- cut into cubes
- 4 cups hot masted potatoes
- 1 egg -- beaten
- 1/3 cup parsley -- finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon flour
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- salt, pepper to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onions in butter.
Add bread cubes halfway through the sauteeing.
Combine this mixture with the mashed potatoes.
Combine the egg and milk, and add to the potato mix.
Add remaining ingredients and turn into a buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
Bake until it has heated through and the top has browned, about 30 minutes.
