Ingredients
- 2 lbs stew meat
- 1/4 c shortening
- 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 c cold water
- 1 onion diced
- 1- 1/2 c water
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1 clove garlic diced
- 3/4 c catsup
- salt and pewpper
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp cornstarch

Preparation
Step 1
Cook and stir beef, onon & garlic in shortening until beef is brown, drain. Stir in 1-1/2 c water, catsup, worcestershire, brown sugar, salt, pepper, paprika, mustard & cayenne pepper. Heat to boiling, reduce, cover and simmer till beef is tender, 2 to 2-1/2 hours. Shake 1/4 c cold water and cornstarch, stir gradually into beef mixture. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly till thick.
