Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- pinch mace
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter, melted

Preparation
Step 1
Grease 8 muffin cups. Cream butter, add sugar gradually.
Cream well and add vanilla, mace, nutmeg, and egg.
Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt, alternately with milk.
Fill muffin tins 2/3 full.
Bake 20-25 minutes at 350.
Mix the 1/2 cup sugar with teaspoon cinnamon.
Immediately after baking, roll puffs in melted butter,
then in cinnamon sugar mixture.
Serve hot.
