Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 small finely chopped onion
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 large celery stalk chopped up
- 1 14 1/2 oz chicken broth
- 2 c. water
- 1 15 oz. white drained and rinsed kidney beans
- 1 14 1/2 oz. diced tomatoes
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. little pasta

Preparation
Step 1
in 5 Qt. dutch oven heat oil over medium heat until hot.
Add hamburger and start to brown then add onion and celery and cook until the vegetables are tender (about 10 minutes). Add beans, tomatoes, garlic, sugar, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling over high heat and then add the broth and water. Stir. Add pasta and heat to boiling, then reduce heat and cook for 8 - 10 minutes.
