Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 2 minced cloves of garlic
- 1 20 oz. tin tomatoes
- 2 6 oz. tins of tomato paste
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 carton cottage cheese
- 1 8 oz pkg. lasange
- 1/2 lb. shredded mozzeralla cheese - you might need more
- 1/2 c. parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Brown the beef in oil. Add onion and garlic and cook until transparent. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, basil, oregano and pepper. Cover and simmer 1 hour until thick.
Cook noodles in boiling water for 20 minutes. Drain.
In shallow baking dish spread 1 layer of noodles. Cover with a layer of meat sauce. If so desired, put a layer of mozzeralla cheese, sprinkle about 1/3 of the parmesan cheese. Repeat this until all ingredients are gone.
Bake at 350 F. for 30 - 40 minutes.
