  • 1 cup Crisco
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 large eggs or 7 medium eggs
  • 2 cups sifted cake flour
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp lemon flavoring (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Cream crisco and sugar well. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour a little at a time. Mix well. Add vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes @ 325 degrees.
