Ingredients
- 1 cup Crisco
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 large eggs or 7 medium eggs
- 2 cups sifted cake flour
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp lemon flavoring (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Cream crisco and sugar well. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour a little at a time. Mix well. Add vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes @ 325 degrees.
