Ingredients
- 4 square unsweetened chocolate
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- Chocolate Fudge Frosting
- Melt 4 square unsweetened chocolate and 2 tbls. butter or margarine. Combine 4 cups confectioner sugar and dash of salt, 1/2 cup milk and 1 tspw. vanilla and chocolate. Mix well. Let stand if necessar

Preparation
Step 1
Melt chocolate. Add 1/2 cup of sugar, cook and stir 2 minutes. Let cool. Add vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Cream butter. Beat in sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add flour and milk alternately, beating until smooth. Pour into 2 gresed a floured pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
