Ingredients
- 1 pound butter, room temperature
- 1 cup white sugar
- 4 cups flour

Preparation
Step 1
1. Cream butter in a glass bowl.
2. Then cream sugar into butter a little at a time.
3. Cream flour into this mixture slowly also.
4. Work with hands and add extra flour (no more than 1/2 c) so mixture doesn't stick to your hands.
5. Make into 4”patties by 1/2 inch thick, and crimp edges, like a pie crust.
Bake at 275°F for one hour or until golden brown on edges.
