Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef tips -- cut in 1" cubes
  • 3 cloves garlic -- minced
  • 1 large fresh tomato -- diced
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 dash salt, pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil in skillet, medium heat.

Add garlic and beef.

Brown meat.

Simmer on low heat for 45 minutes-1 hour until tender.

Add flour and mix well with the meat.

Add the tomato, spices, and 3 cups water.

Stir until thickened and bubbly.

Serve on rice or tortillas.
