Ingredients
- TOPPING:
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup graham crackers
- 3/4 cup dates, cut up → Pecan halves if desired.
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 tsp. rum favoring
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 chopped pecans
- 1 pkg vanilla butter cream frosting mix
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 tsp. rum flavoring

Preparation
Step 1
In large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, oil, rum and eggs at lowest speed. Stir in graham cracker crumbs and pecans. Pour into a 9 in. square pan which is greased only on bottom.
Sprinkle with dates. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes until top springs back.
Serve warm and garnish with topping.
TOPPING
Combine frosting mix, whipping cream and rum. Beat until thick.
