Ingredients
- whole chicken cut up
- 1-2 celery and leaf
- 3-4 carrots, sliced
- onion, sliced

Preparation
Step 1
1. Put chix in big soup, with carrots, celery and onion and 1-2 celery leaf. Fill water about 2 inches from top. Season with s&p.
2. Bring to boil, when lightly boiling, cover partway and let lightly boil 2-2 1/2 hours. Take chix out.
3. Soup made a day ahead, put in fridge.
4. Next day, skim fat of top. Season soup to taste.
