Ingredients

  • 1 10 oz. bag of elbow macaroni; cooked & drained
  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup stripped & chopped green peppers
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese; shredded

Step 1

Cook macaroni and drain. Brown sausage and drain. In sausage fat cook onion and green peppers; add flour and salt. Slowly add milk and cook on medium heat until thick. Stir in 1 1/2 cups cheese, 1/2 of the sausage and macaroni; mix well. Pour into 2 quart greased baking dish, top with 1/2 cup of cheese and reserved sausage. Bake 20 minutes @ 350 degrees.
