Ingredients
- 2 Cups all purpose unbleached flour
- 2/3 cup of Crisco
- 1 tablespoon of salted butter
- 2 Tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup of cold water
- shake of salt

Preparation
Step 1
Mix flour and salt together in a large mixing bowl
Mash Crisco and soft butter together and mix into flour with a fork until smalls balls form.
Mix vinegar and water together and pour half into flour and mix in.
Use rest of water vinegar mix working into flour by hand until you get a nice dough ball.
More or less water mix may be needed use your own discretion.
When nice dough ball is made cut in half and roll each one out between wax paper to make a top and bottom crust.
Coat top crust with a little milk to help it brown and cook according to your pie recipe example for a standard apple pie is 425 degrees for forty five minutes.
This should take about 15-20 minutes,people love this simple recipe
