Ingredients

  • Cream together:
  • 1 & 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • Add:
  • 2 cups mashed fresh peaches
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • add and mix together
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • Bake in 2 greased loaf pans in preheated 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes. Makes 2 loafs.
