Ingredients
- 4 lb ripe but firm pears such as Bosc
- 4 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 Teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 Tablespoon pectin

Preparation
Step 1
1. Grate pears using largest holes. Combine with sugar, lemon juice, and ginger in large stainless steel pot.
2. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low and cook 30-45 min until jam has thickened. Stir pectin into 1/4 cup of jam liquid. Cook 3 min or until jam has thickened.
3. Fill in sterilized jars.
4. Re-sterilize
