Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 egg whites, beaten
- 1/4 cup skim milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 cups sliced apples, peeled
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oven to 375. Grease and flour pie pan.
2. Mix flour, 2 tbs sugar, baking powder. Cut in 1 1/2 tbs butter. Add egg-vanilla. Batter will be stiff. Pour into pan. Arrange apples on top to cover batter.
3. Mix 3 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top. Dot with 1/2 tablespoon butter.
4. Bake 30 mins., cool 10 mins. Serve with vanilla sauce.
