Step 1

Immerse eggs in cold water.
Bring water to boil

Once boiling, turn off heat and let sit for 5 minutes if eggs were at room temp to start (out of refrigerator for 2-3 hours) or let sit for 10-12 minutes in hot water (covered) if eggs in refrigerator prior to immersion.

Place in cold water for 2 minutes
Tap eggs on hard surface in two opposite places, then roll the egg gently like rolling limes or lemons.
Eggshell should peel easily.
