Ingredients

  • Frosting:
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 8 oz. can crushed pinapple,undrained
  • 2 cup chopped nuts seperated
  • 2 cups mashed banana
  • 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 1 stick of marg., softened
  • 1 16 oz box confecectioner sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Combine dry ingredients, add eggs, aoil until moistened. Don't beat. Stir in vanilla, pineapple, banana, and 1 cup nuts. Grease and flour 3 9" pans. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350. Cool in pans.
Frosting:
Cream marg and cream cheese until fluffy. Add sugar and beat. Stir in vanilla. Spread over cake and sprinkle 1 cup of nuts on top.
