Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh or frozen(thawed) blueberries
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup plus 2 T sugar
- 1 egg
- 3 T dark molasses
- 1 cup buttermilk

Preparation
Step 1
350. Wash and dry berries, coat with 2 T flour, reserve. Mix remaining flour with dry ingred. In a large bowl beat oil with egg, and sugar till light, add molasses, beat well. Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture. Fold in berries. Turn into greased and floured 9" square pan. Bake 35-40 mins till toothpick is clean. Serve warm.
