  • 2 cups half and half
  • 15 oz can pumpkin
  • 1 cup packed plus 2 T dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 10 cups 1/2" cubes egg bread
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • Caramel Sauce
  • 1 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

350. Whisk half and half, pumpkin, sugar, eggs, spices, and vanilla. Fold in cubes. Stir in raisins. Transfer mixture 11x7 glass baking dish. Let stand 15 mins. Bake till comes clean 40 mins.

Sauce: Whisk sugar and butter till melts, whisk in cream till sugar dissolves and smooth, about 3 mins.

Sift powdered sugar over pudding, serve warm with sauce
