Ingredients
- 2 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons bread crumbs
- 3 cups sliced fennel
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup asiago Cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup parsley
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oven to 350.
2. Melt 1/2 tb butter in skillet. Add bread crumbs, stir until butter is absorbed. Remove from pan and set aside.
3. Saute fennel in rest of butter until softened, about 4 mins. Stir in flour until absorbed. Stir in milk, cooking and stirring until boiling. Add both cheeses, then parsley and pepper.
4. Pour into casserole, sprinkle with crumbs. Bake 20 mins, until browned and bubbly.
Notes: Best recipe for fennel - and very easy.
