Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 3 cups diced potatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 2 6 1/2 oz cans of minced clams
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup half and half

Preparation

Step 1

Cut bacon into 1 inch pieces and fry, spread in bottom of 3 qt pot.
Add potatoes and onions.
Drain fluid from clams add to pot. Stir to mix.
Add water to barley cover and simmer till tender.
Make a white sauce of milk, flour and half and half, add to potatoes along with the clams and salt and pepper.

Cook until thickened.
