Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 c. chopped peeled apples
- 2 c. water
- dash salt
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk until well blended. Fold in apples. Mixture will be stiff.
Butter and 8 x 8 pan and spread mixture evenly into pan.
Combine water, brown sugar and seasonning in saucepan, bring to a boil.
Pour sauce into pan over batter.
Bake 400F for 40-45 minutes or until apples are brown.
Serve warm with ice cream.
