  • 1 lb. bread dough
  • 2 chipotle peppers, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. dried chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • chipotle seasoning/rub to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Follow package instructions for thawing dough.

Once thawed, divide the dough into four equal portions.

Add equal amounts of the peppers, onion and seasoning. Gently knead the ingredients until all are well incorporated.

Place the four biscuits into a large oiled, pyrex dish, keeping them well separated. Cover with a slight damp cloth, and place in a warm, draft-free area until the dough rises (2-3 hours); It may double in size.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Once the dough has risen, it is ready to bake. Brush each biscuit with the melted butter. Sprinkle with added seasoning for color and taste.

Bake for 25-30 minutes. When done, remove from pan immediately and allow to cool.
