Ingredients
- 2 lb extra lean ground beef
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 medium or large onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1 small head green cabbage, coarsely chopped
- 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce, can add another 8- 15 oz if you like more sauce

Step 1
Spray crock pot with nonstick cooking spray.
Crumble the raw ground beef & sausage and spread along bottom of crock pot.
Add the onions, green pepper, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme and cabbage.
Pour the diced tomatoes over top.
Pour the tomato sauce over everything. If you like more sauce, add another 8-oz or 15-oz can of tomato sauce.
Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours or on high for about 4 hours.
When done, remove lid and stir to mix well.
