Ingredients
- 2 small garlic cloves
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp dried mustard
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (or chili flakes for spicy version!)
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. coarse salt
- 1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh basil
- 2 tsp. finely chopped fresh marjoram
- 1 tsp. finely chopped fresh oregano

Step 1
Whisk garlic, sugar, mustard, salt, pepper, pepper flakes and vinegar in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together oils; add to vinegar mixture in a slow, steady stream, whisking until emulsified. Whisk in herbs. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
