Ingredients
- Amish bread
- 1 cup starter
- 2/3 cup oil
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- ½ tsp. vanilla
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup raisins, chocolate chips, chopped nuts, dates and/or apples

Step 1
Combine all ingredients in a non-metal bowl and mix well. Place batter into 2 well greased lightly floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Place on a rack and cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans. Cool thoroughly before cutting.
