Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 2 apples, peeled and in 1/2" cubes
  • 1/2 cup egg beaters® 99% egg substitute
  • 1/3 cup nonfat dry milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Preparation

Step 1

1. Saute apples in butter until tender, about 5 mins. Remove from heat.

2. Heat oven to 500.

3. Puree remaining ingredients until smooth, pour over apples. Bake 10 mins, until set and lightly browned.

Notes: Didn't have apples on hand, so used blueberries and bananas - delicious combination and a great breakfast. Doubled the recipe.
