Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet, cook beef, onion, and celery until meat is no longer pink.

Pour spaghetti sauce in the crock pot. Use wine (or water) to rinse excess sauce from jars and pour into crock pot. Add meat, bell peppers, carrots, and spices. Simmer in crock pot until ready to use.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook noodles until al dente (5 -7 minutes). Drain and rinse. Spray a 9x13 (or smaller for less shells) baking dish with cooking spray. Spread enough sauce to coat the bottom of the dish.

Place one cube of cheese in each shell and place in dish, until all shells are stuffed. Cover all the shells completely with remaining sauce. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top and bake 20-30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
