Nana Garden's Sugar Cookies

For all the requests for The Sugar Cookie Recipe. This is a lg recipe but our Nana had 49 grandchildren. We all loved her cookies.

Combine first 5 ingredients in bowl. Add butter and mix with pastry cutter until consistency of coarse cornmeal. Stir in beaten eggs. Roll out and bake at 375 until light brown. Makes 7 doz.

Ingredients

• 5 cups flour
• 2 cups wh sugar
• 2 t.baking soda
• 1 t.salt
• 1 t. Vanilla
• 1 lb. Butter
• 4 eggs
