Keep sweet corn at peak freshness for up to 2 weeks.
Shuck the corn and then soak for 15 minutes in 1 gallon iced water with a drop of lemon juice and 2 drops household bleach. After the bth, seal in plastic (bags or wrap) and stash in the coldest part of the fridge.

Without this method corn will stay fresh for 1-2 days.

Steaming corn preserves sweetness better than boiling. Steam in the husk for 10 minutes.
Roast in the husk in a 350 oven for 1 hour.
