Apple pineapple crisp

The natural sweetness of apples and pineapple means you need very little additional sweetener in this apple pineapple crisp, which makes a great Phase 1 breakfast for the Fast Metabolism Diet.

Ingredients
- Topping:
- 3/4 cup water
- 30 drops liquid stevia
- 2 cups diced pineapple (about 1/2 a fresh pineapple or a 14-ounce can)
- 2 cups diced apple with skins (2 apples)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup water
- 30 drops liquid stevia
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
For the filling, combine the water and stevia, and then stir it together with the rest of the filling ingredients. Pour the filling into an 8-inch baking dish.
For the topping, again combine the water and stevia, and then stir in the rest of the topping ingredients. Spread the topping evenly over the filling, and press down lightly.
Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the topping is lightly browned. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
